  It was alright. We liked the location and had a good time. But, the rooms had an unmistakable smell of mice. There were old mice droppings on the floor in the living area and on the coffee table. The staff were very nice and very friendly. The restaurant food is decent too.

  We enjoyed our stay at Kelly’s Beach Resort. The location is great, and the grounds & facilities were lovely. The rooms were dated but clean and comfortable. Considering the price, it was great value for money.
  
  Best of all was the food at the restaurant. Easily the best Fillet Mignon I’ve had in a long time.

  Fantastic location, however we were disappointed at the rooms which were dirty and the bathrooms were unclean and smaller than a closet. The floor was quite dirty and the overall apartment could’ve been cleaned better. Enough beds for everyone, okay facilities except no oven or saucepans. No railings on the steps or decks which puts everyone in danger, especially when the table was so close to the edge of the deck. The beds up in the loft had dirty covers, were mattresses on the floor and had a very unsafe ladder to get up there. Great BBQ access nearby. Nice walking paths around the resort. Friendly visits daily from the possums and bearded dragons. They had movies on in the main park part 3 nights a which was really good. The pool, tennis court and laser tag on the beach (on Saturdays) gives you plenty to do. Neuron scooters right outside which was handy. Great location (30 second walk to the beach). Our overall stay and experience was quite good.

  We were very pleasantly surprised with this oasis by the sea. Beautiful surrounds, lovely tropical gardens, a pool, spa, sauna, games room and lovely airconditioned self contained cabins in the lush grounds made us feel like we were in a tropical resort. It was nice to sit out on our balcony and just enjoy the atmosphere. We could tell that the families and the children loved the Kellys Beach Resort. Just a short walk to the beach and picnic areas.
  The staff at the front reception desk were very friendly and so welcoming when we arrived and during our stay.
  We thoroughly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

  Very reasonable price for the unit, plenty of space, a little dated but the price reflects that. The best part is the restaurant, really good food and generous portions. Will definitely stay again if I’m in the region for a cheap stay and great food. The amenities looked great too.

  A jewel on the coast of Bargara. Safe to swim and is patrolled.
